Hosting the Super Bowl is a great boon for a city, and for New Orleans, still recovering from Hurricane Katrina, the game is seen as a way of celebrating the city's recuperation after the devastating storm. The Superdome was a symbol of the suffering during the aftermath of the hurricane, but with the city on the mend, it should change to be a symbol of the new hope in New Orleans.
